IoE Data Infrastructure for Energy Management and PV Monitoring – In Partnership with Zeronest

Project Type: Platform as a Service (PAAS)
Client: Zeronest
Partner: Amazon AWS, 1NCE, OrderGroup
Product: Internet of Energy Platform
Cloud-native IoE for smarter energy management
Zeronest is delivering next-generation energy management services for prosumers, as well as advanced tools for monitoring and managing fleets of PV inverters and battery storage systems by installers and energy aggregators. At the heart of this system lies the PySENSE Internet of Energy (IoE) platform, which provides the complete data acquisition layer enabling Zeronest’s mobile and web-based analytics applications.
By natively supporting key industry-standard application protocols such as DLMS/COSEM, Modbus, Sunspec, Wireless M-Bus, and OCPP, the platform enables integrators to focus on delivering business logic and end-user features, while PySENSE handles all data acquisition, hardware communication, and device orchestration.
The platform exposes a simple and secure REST API, offering streamlined access to real-time and historical measurement data. Additionally, PySENSE provides a full suite of hardware options — including LTE/RS485 modems, P1 HAN Dongles, and dedicated CT Energy Meters — all natively integrated with the platform.
Thanks to built-in device provisioning and remote management, as well as pan-European roaming connectivity via 1NCE service, integrators benefit from plug-and-play deployments, fast time-to-market, and zero hassle with local SIM logistics.

The PySENSE IoE platform is a dedicated, AWS cloud-based IoT system designed for the energy sector. It enables seamless integration with a wide range of devices within the energy ecosystem, including:
