4G & Wireless M-Bus IoT Light Gateway

The DIN200-WMBUS is the smallest industrial IoT gateway on the market designed specifically for energy sector applications. It features built-in 4G cellular connectivity, a Wireless M-Bus radio interface, and an RS485 port for seamless integration with a wide range of field devices, including energy meters, PV inverters, and EV chargers.

Thanks to native integration with Amazon AWS IoT Core via MQTT protocol, the gateway enables rapid development of secure, scalable IoT applications for smart energy systems.

The Modem facilitates remote communication with end devices such as energy meters, PV inverters, water, gas, heat meters, and PLCs. It also fully integrates with the Internet of Energy platform based on Amazon AWS IoT Core, enabling quick connection, configuration, and remote management of a device fleet.
The built-in RS485 interface allows communication with any end device, while the integrated Wireless M-Bus 868 MHz chip can connect with any radio device featuring this interface.

TCP/IP to RS485 Transparent Communication:

Enable bi-directional data transfer between the RS485 user's device and the network, supporting TCP/IP connection. The device functions as a TCP/IP server, encapsulating and decapsulating application-level protocols to facilitate easier integration between systems and end devices.

Wireless M-Bus Gateway:

The device functions as a Wireless M-Bus to MQTT gateway, supporting all devices using Wireless M-Bus in T1 or C1 mode. It enables filtering by specific devices and manufacturers and buffers data when LTE connectivity is unavailable.

Local Modbus Client:

The device includes a local Modbus & Sunspec client that allows complete configuration of reading registers, data buffering, and transmitting the obtained values from devices through the RS485 interface to the cloud via MQTT.
